About This Station
The station is powered by a LA Crosse WS2300- weather station. The data is collected every 5 seconds and the site is updated every 10 minutes. This site and its data is collected using Weather Display Software. The station comprises of an anemometer, rain gauge and a thermo-hydro sensor situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy possible.
About Invergordon
Invergordon is located around 20 miles North of the Highland Capital Inverness.
Primarily the local industry is supporting the North sea oil industry and the Whiskey industry but in recent years we have had many visits (over 50 in 2006) from cruise liners creating a boost in local tourism.
